Mi transformación dentro del tatuaje

My tattoo style

The origin of my tattoo style is traditional American or classic style, of which I retain strong lines and strong colors. This style requires us to rely on old designs and redesign or copy them in our style.

What changed in my style is that based on this traditional tattoo culture, I got bored of copying and continuing to base myself on someone else's designs, although I still love this style, and I carry it in my heart, I feel that my creations asked for a next level. So by including active listening to the person I was tattooing in my tattoo sessions, I realized that the tattoo had an enormous weight in their lives, an invisible transformation that was beginning to be visible.

So I decided to start designing from listening, intuition and love for my work, applying all my creativity in each design, allowing myself to design especially for each person and taking a moment to read and listen to the stories behind each tattoo, thus letting intuition and the flow of creative energy allowed me to connect with people in a deeper way.

Then my style becomes a little shamanic and magical, when I see that that connection is also felt by the person and the designs are even more than what the person expected, a very common example that happens to me is that they ask me to design a tattoo in honor a family member or pet; I prepare, read, listen and design without having the photograph or even having it without knowing this being, when the person who is going to be tattooed sees the design, many times he tells me how did you exactly draw a certain feature or look? exactly how it is... and I don't know either, I feel that the connection goes further, I can't explain it, but it is reflected in the way that information is translated through my hands and my drawings.
